Sony XDCA-FS7 Extension Unit

The Sony FS7 XDCA backend extension unit attaches seamlessly to the Sony PXW-FS7 Camera, allowing you to use V-Lock Batteries, and giving timecode in for syncing multiple cameras on a shoot.

When using larger lenses, the Extension Unit will balance any possible front heaviness and increase the stability on your shoulder.

Timecode and Genlock for multi-camera operation. The unit also provides power connection for additional accessories and or the possibility to use common V-Mount batteries.

A built-in Full HD ProRes encoding function enables ProRes-format recording to an XQD card in the camera, and also allows recording 12-bit RAW footage on the Sony AXS-R5, or another third party, RAW recorder.
